2019 Volvo S60 Sedan vs. 2016 Volvo S60Â
Upgrade to the Revamped 2019 Volvo S60 in Norristown, PAÂ
If you leased your Volvo S60 in 2016, it's time to start considering your options for what to do when that lease ends. While some might want to look at a Volvo SUV, many other Audubon, PA drivers will be more than happy to take a look at the latest version of the mid-size sedan they already know and love. Given that the Volvo S60 was completely redesigned for the 2019 model year, we thought it would be a good idea to detail what's new with the sedan -- and highlight some of the differences you'll find between the two versions.

What's New for 2019Â
In a nutshell, everything. Built at the company's new South Carolina plant, the 2019 Volvo S60 is about five inches longer than the previous generation. That added length gives it more presence on the local roads, and also provides rear seat passengers with more room to stretch out. Since you're even more likely to choose the S60 when heading off on a road trip, you'll appreciate the improvements that have been made to the sedan's suspension -- since they make even the roughest roads easier to travel.Â
Bigger and Better Than EverÂ
The 2019 Volvo S60 features standard 18-inch alloy wheels, as opposed to the 17-inch alloy wheels you're accustomed to. We mentioned that the sedan was longer now, but it's also almost seven inches wider. Combine that larger body with an increased wheelbase, and you have a sedan with a much more dynamic, aggressive appearance.Â
Improved Performance
Pottstown and Conshohocken, PA customers, prepare yourself for even greater power with the 2019 Volvo S60, no matter which engine you choose. For example, the standard 2019 T5 engine produces 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 10 horsepower when compared to the T5 engine that came standard in your 2016 S60 sedan.

More, and Better, Standard FeaturesÂ
The interior has been redesigned, with upgraded touches that reflect the sedan's sophisticated European sensibilities. Where the 2016 version started with standard cloth seating, the 2019 Volvo S60 boasts leatherette seats, and keyless ignition, a panoramic sunroof, and an improved infotainment system all come standard on the newest version. One other standard feature you're sure to love? The convenience provided by Apple CarPlayâ„¢ and Android Autoâ„¢ smartphone integration, allowing you easy access to contacts, maps, music, and more.

Moving up to the T6 engine options reveals a similar improvement. The 2016 version of the T6 engine makes 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque; the 2019 variant manufactures 316 horsepower while matching the torque output. Finally, the top engine option for the 2016 S60 sedan is a Polestar model that creates 345 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The 2019 Volvo S60 has an innovative T8 engine that pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged inline-four engine with a 10.4 kW electric motor, generating a pulse-pounding 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque.Â
